We don’t usually plan our travels in great detail, in advance. We have a general idea, and then research places as we go, talk to people we meet along the way, and get ideas. We don’t usually book organised tours either, but in this particular case, we realised that our complete lack of knowledge of the area and the wilderness, meant that if we tried to do it on our own, we would probably die!

I have depression

I’m writing this to continue the discussion about mental health issues. I’m happy to see more discussion happening, and I think it’s important to keep talking, and to reduce and eventually remove the stigma of depression and other mental health issues. 

Canoe the Coorong!

We were actually kayaking, but that’s a whole other story! Canoe the Coorong is what Brenton calls his business, started as an eco-tourism Uni project, and now through lots of hard work, and his Nana’s bikkies, Brenton has an excellent, thriving business!
