Joshua Tree California

In December 2013, we stayed overnight in a simple, but comfortable, homesteaders cabin,

homesteaders cabin in Joshua Tree

booked through airbnb in the amazing, peaceful, Joshua Tree National Park. Here’s a few photos:

Cooking dinner in the homesteader cabin
free-range melons in the desert!
our dry-compost outhouse. No smell, honestly!
Propane heated outdoor shower was the other half of the outhouse. But it was too cold for us, we chose to stay a little smelly that night!
