Beautiful Bali
In April/May 2017 we spent three weeks in Bali, as part of several months travelling through SE Asia. Bali is one of over 17,000 islands which make up the country of Indonesia. We visited just a few of them!
Here be dragons
They don’t breathe fire, they don’t have wings, but they are most assuredly dragons! And just as the medieval mapmakers wrote “here be dragons” to indicate unexplored, possibly dangerous territories, so walking in the territory of the Komodo dragons can certainly be dangerous!
Horizontal bubbles and mantas!
We first visited the island of Flores in Indonesia in May 2017. We dived in the eastern area near Maumere, then hired a car and driver and took a week to drive east to west to Labuan Bajo, the town closest to Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve.
